I am a musician and maker in addition to my day job fixing old windows. My formal studies are in visual arts, which I majored in at the University of Minnesota, minoring in Cultural Studies, and I have a two-year degree in graphic design. I like to get into the weeds with whatever I do, and as such I have a lot of fragmented dabbling experience in photography, web development, electronic engineering, carpentry and furniture design, bicycle repair and maintenance, business development and writing.

During a time of my life when I was working a boring, full-time corporate job, I obessively studied audio engineering. I also saved up for a major (for me) home studio investment so I could move on from analog four track recording. I’ve held several live sound jobs at local venues including six years at the since-destroyed Hexagon Bar.

My music is mostly self-recorded and self-produced and I play guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, and I write and sing. All of my available recordings can be downloaded for free with a name-your-price option. Anyone spending more than ten dollars on any single digital purchase gets credited in the next video.
